At Witches Falls we love wine. To us it is not just a drink. We love growing it, making it, drinking it, matching it with all kinds of foods and sharing it with friends and we would love to share our wines with you.
Located on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, at Witches Falls Winery we take pride in creating wines that you not only love to drink but wines which draw you into our world. We produce three distinctive ranges of wines: Granite Belt, Wild Ferment and Prophecy, each providing a unique look at different styles and practices in both viticulture and winemaking.
Granite Belt Fruit..
We source the majority of our fruit from the Granite Belt – Queensland’s premier wine growing region.
The Granite Belt is located on the Great Dividing Range 200km South West of Brisbane and 95km inland.
James Halliday says that the key to the Granite Belt Region lies in its high altitude (between 600 and 1000m above sea level). This high elevation means that the region is considered a cool climate region not only by Queensland standards, but also by worldwide viticultural standards. The altitude combined with the free draining Granite soils makes the region ideally suited to growing grapes.
Although we have achieved incredible results on the National Wine Show Circuit, for us it is about the challenges of taking fantastic fruit from the Granite Belt and producing must have fine wines.
We make the best wine, because we buy the best grapes from the best vineyards in South East Queensland!

Our cellar door staff will make sure your experience at Witches Falls is unforgettable. Be guided through a wine tasting by one of our knowledgeable staff, create a DIY cheese platter from our range of Jambreen cheeses or bring a picnic to enjoy in our gardens while sipping on your favourite wines.
