Located in the picturesque Lost World Valley, this 6th generation working dairy farm is the perfect place for a family getaway. With 200 acres of beautiful scenery, a menagerie of farm animals, tranquil creeks and abundant wildlife, it’s a farmstay holiday with something for everyone.

The Cottage, built in 1888 and recently renovated, offers that ‘homely’ feeling of generations gone by without compromising on the modern conveniences of today’s lifestyle. Decorated in rustic country style and nestled in a private setting on the working farm, guests can escape the rigours of city life and find true relaxation. With full kitchen facilities and outdoor hooded BBQ, guests can self cater or purchase a Farmhouse Hamper featuring meat and produce direct from the Farm Larder.

Dave’s family has worked this land for over 140 years and welcomes guests to join them for a truly authentic farm adventure. Try your hand at milking the dairy herd, collect eggs from the open range hens, meet the extended farm family as you make your way around the farm feeding the calves, pigs, sheep, goats and more with the morning feeding chores. Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to name a new arrival; all their farm animals are named!

Take a look what’s in Tommerup’s Farm Larder during your stay – you can purchase meat from animals raised ethically on Tommerup’s Farm, pick produce straight from the extensive vegetable patch, try their golden yolk open range eggs, taste pure natural hive honey to really connect with how food is produced.

Dave & Kay Tommerup run the family farm along with their children, Harry & Georgia, who are the 6th generation working this property.
