Seaview Farm Retreat Holiday House Cottages on spectacular Tamborine Mountain is within an hour’s drive of Brisbane CBD and only 35 minutes to the glorious beaches of the Gold Coast.

Your holiday cottages are next door to the Tamborine Mountain Golf Course, close to shops, cafes, restaurants and much more whilst set in a beautiful and relaxing picturesque country setting.

Variety of packages and extras available

A big advantage of staying with us is our excellent concierge service. We have extensive local knowledge and we’re happy to share it! As your personal concierges we can help you with guide maps and directions, dinner recommendations and reservations; we can even make tour and massage bookings for you.

We are package experts and can arrange activities like Massage Therapists who visit you, Winery Tours, Hot Air Balloon flights, a very personal Wildlife experience and much, much more for your stay. Please give us plenty of notice to avoid any disappointments.

Massage Package at your ‘place’ (1.5hr) — $150 per adult (Ripple Massage)

Hot Air Ballooning — $280 per adult (Hot Air)

Personal Wildlife experience with the Bush Buddies — $250 (up to 10 people)

Winery Tour (Tour company depending on availability but generally Cork’n Fork, Vino Bus, Tash Maree or Ambience on Tour) — $150 per adult incl lunch

There are restaurants that offer take away meals if you feel like staying in (please refer to the restaurant list in your compendium) or during the day you could visit the Deli in Main Street which has a delicious choice of delicatessen goodies to suit most tastes.

Seaview Farm has been a part of life at Tamborine right from the start…

Mt Tamborine’s history started in 1870 when Edmund Ford Curtis and his brother Sydney first walked up the mountain. They settled there, selecting land in April 1877.

Seaview Farm was first established around 1900 by Bob Jenyns. Bob was the grandfather of the current owner, Teena Hansford.

The first slab hut, built on the farm by Bob Jenyns has been rebuilt and is now the Seaview Farm Reception Hut.

Bobby Jenyns sold the farm to the Hansford family in 1936 and since then the farm has been operated by the Hansfords, initially Ruby and then her son Ned and his wife Eleanor.

Ned and Eleanor’s son Russell Hansford is the current owner.

If you are interested in the history of the area or the development of the farm spend a few minutes looking at Seaview through the ages in our 100 year old replica Reception Hut.

The farm has been in the family for the last 100 years spanning across both Russell and Teena’s families. Initially run as a dairy and vegetable farm, Seaview now doubles as a cattle farm and a luxury retreat.
