The rainforest is an amazing slice of nature but to experience the rainforest on a night tour is something we all should add to our “Bucket List“. You will hear and see a totally different world filled with all those nocturnal creatures and culminating at a waterfall inhabited by Glow worms.
To fill your evening with fun and adventure with nature, join Southern Cross on Australia’s only Night Rainforest and Glow worm Tour. These guys will pick you up from your Tamborine Mountain accommodation around 7.30pm (varies depending on the time of year) and drop you back around 10pm.
They know where to find all those elusive creatures of the night, give you the local commentary on nocturnal flora and fauna finished off with the viewing Glow worms in their natural environment alongside a secluded National Park waterfall.

We view the Glow worms not only at the waterfall but right there in front of you on the banks of our secluded rainforest walk like stars in the night sky. Should you require capsule or booster seat for younger family members just let us know (no extra charge). We provide individual LED torches to each guest and your guide has special high visibility torches with soft filtered light as not to disturb the nocturnal wildlife.
Glow worms change brightness and viewing can be different on every night due to factors outside of our control. Some of these factors are the moon, rainfall, cold change in the weather etc. We will always see glow worms but please be aware they do change and obviously it is beyond our control.
The advantage of our tour is its not just about the Glow worms. We offer more than any other tour and with our secluded nocturnal rain forest walk in a luxury small group environment.
Please note this tour can be customised for large groups, we have the Latest model, luxury 16 seater Mercedes vehicles to cater for your larger groups. All our vehicles are 4wd but if you just want to stick to the roads as a private tour we can.
